Hand of Emmanuel is an Ottawa-based nonprofit. Inspired by Christian values of service, we welcome people of all backgrounds and seek to act with compassion, dignity, and respect.
We believe meaningful support begins with a human connection. Our first initiative is building a mentorship network for young people aged 13 and older alongside families and people who want to support young people.
Our aim is to bring volunteers and partners together around thoughtful, responsible support that gives young people hope for the future.

Youth mentorship initiative
Every young person needs people who believe in them. A mentor can offer a steady presence, attentive listening, and positive guidance shaped by the young person’s needs and aspirations.
